lyrics

something about nights being so dark
can't see my hand in front of my face
getting lost on my way back home
seeing a little further out in space

the way the stars shine out here
makes me dread going back to the city
i could never live in the middle of nowhere
but there has to be somewhere in between

something about walking on a dirt road
it's a different feel wherever you go
faces and voices with slight variations
people living lives i will never know

something about snow in the desert
it's beautiful, seems so out of place
when i travel this all kinda runs together
it's anywhere and i’m up for the chase

the way the stars shine
